Working Girl Spa Night Essentials with Walgreens

I was asked by Carousel to participate in the #LetsBeReal campaign, sponsored by Walgreens. Although I have been compensated all opinions are my own.

Wow, so it's safe to say that I haven't been giving this blog the TLC it deserves. With summer heating up and my job getting busier than ever, I've found it challenging to keep up with writing.

In fact, #letsbereal I've been skimping on many aspects of my life lately, including my skin routine. With a schedule that leaves little room for extra-curricular activities, I need products that are effective, affordable and convenient.

That's why I love Studio 35 at Walgreens! I recently had a spa night with my bestie Kaitlyn and we decided to cruise over to Walgreens (in her jeep with the top down, music blasting, and wind-blown hair) to pick up some new products to try.

We both were coming from work with a full face of makeup on so #letsbereal we needed to cleanse our skin. We each grabbed Studio 35 wipes that fit our personal skin types.

I'm always on the drier side so I went with the Hydrating Facial Wipes sweetly packaged in pastel blue. They remove dirt & oil without stripping your skin of moisture!

Kaitlyn has more sensitive skin that's still on the dry side, so she chose the Micellar Water Wipes. They're hypoallergenic, so your skin will feel clean and hydrated after using!

Pro-tip always start by removing your eye makeup first and be gentle! I always use a few wipes instead of scrubbing in an already sensitive area.

Both Kaitlyn and I wanted to feel fresh and clean so we opted for the Mint Julep Mask. Formulated with natural mint, this product helps dry up acne, clear blackheads and reduce appearance of pores. Plus it smells amazing! We're all exposed to so much pollution every day, so I am going to use this product once a week to give my skin a deep clean.

After we cleansed our skin, we applied the masks. Then, we filled up the next 15-20 minutes taking selfies, dancing around in our bathrobes, lounging with Kaitlyn's dog, and scrolling through cute boys' Instagrams. Time to wash!

After washing away the Studio 35 mask my skin felt smooth, soft and clean. My favorite part is that I didn't have to drive far or spend a million dollars to get a product that works. I love that I can buy high quality skin care at my local Walgreens.

I'm also a fan of Studio 35's Moisturizing Cream sheet mask. It's super hydrating for your skin and formulated with natural ingredients like goat's milk and vitamin A. Another benefit is that sheet masks are great if you're strapped for time because they come off super easy.

All in all, I've decided to make a conscious effort in making time for myself. Whether it being a few minutes to read a new book, detox from my phone for the night or catch up with a friend. These little moments add up and if you're not having fun, well, you're not living!

Why not pick up a Studio 35 mask and 'take out' with your BFF and have a fun girl's night while pampering yourself in the comfort of your home?
